Your refund goes straight back to the payment method you used online. Unfortunately, we can’t refund it anywhere else.
If their email is linked to a Shop account, they may receive refund emails, app notifications or texts from Shop, even if they paid by card or Afterpay. This can look like the money is going to Shopify, but it’s still being returned to their original payment method.
